Conducted the first session of Learning Circle for EDB Tuen Mun Regional Office

The Learning Circle is convened by the EDB Tuen Mun Regional Office, for the professional development of primary school teachers of English in the district. Ten schools have taken part in the Learning Circle, with two teachers coming from each school. The Learning Circle involves peer lesson observation. The focus for the first round of observations is questioning techniques.

Guided Gareth Chan to produce a digital story

Gareth Chan is a boy studying Grade 3. He recently had a trip to Tung Chung with his family, and two visitors from England. Gareth took some photos during the trip, and wrote it up in his blog. I guided him to produce a digital story based on the photos and the blog entry, using Windows Movie Maker. This experience confirmed for me that even a Primary 3 student may have enough I.T. competence to produce digital stories.
