Conducted a teachers' workshop for the English Dept, Buddhist Lam Bing Yim Primary School
Topic: Designing a reading comprehension unit.
Visit to the Guangzhou Teaching and Research Institute of the Guangzhou Education Bureau (Dec 30, 2011)
Talks delivered by Mr Lu Zonggan and Ms Hey Chan. Delegates included final year ELED students, and two colleagues, Eunice and Cecilia.
Exchange programme at Guanghou
Joined a 4-day exchange programme at the English School attached to the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in Guangzhou (Dec 27-30). Participants included 20 undergraduate student teachers, 3 postgraduate students, and 2 colleagues, Eunice and Cecilia. Activities included observations of lessons taught by the school's primary and secondary teachers.
