Book 1 of a new coursebook series in China published
First book of a new coursebook series in China, of which I am a member of the writing team, has been published. The writing team is based at the Guangzhou Education Bureau. This new coursebook series is in support of the 2011 National English Curriulum for Schools. The sample coursebooks have been approved by the Ministry of Education in Beijing. The first book (for Primary 3, first term) has been published and is currently being used by 140,000 P3 children in GZ (this is the official coursebook). When the whole series is completed, it will be used by over 1 million schoolchildren in China!
