The Matching Task function under Padlet TA: Some useful features

 Just tried the Matching Task function under Padlet TA. 

My prompt: 

Match different types of motivation with their examples in learning scenarios.

RESULT

- 6 real-life scenarios generated (eg, Practising piano to earn money; Exploring science for fun ...)

- 3 cards each for Extrinsic Motivation and for Intrinsic Motivation

- To play, Ss drag each Motivation card to match the correct scenario. 

My OBSERVATIONS

- The 6 scenarios are generated by AI, so the whole matching task can be created very quickly. 

- Each scenario is depicted by (a) a cartoon picture, and (b) a phrase describing the scenario. The pictures will help. If a similar matching task is created with Wordwall, we will first have to look for the 6 cartoon images. 

- In this example, the cartoon images are more suited for primary pupils.
